PeoplePlus Appoints Mike Thompson as Strategic Advisor.

We are pleased to announce  that we have engaged former Barclays Head of Early Career Programmes, Mike Thompson, to work alongside us as a Strategic Adviser.

Thompson managed the award-winning Barclays Apprenticeship and Undergraduate Programmes and is a Member of the government’s Apprenticeship Delivery Board. He will play a strategic role in shaping our growing Apprenticeship portfolio, and in particular, our Financial Services standards which already support a number of leading clients in the sector, notably Lloyds Banking Group. Mike will also join our External Quality Board, which provides an external perspective on the delivery of all learning programmes.

Speaking about his new role, Thompson commented: “I am delighted to be able to work with an organisation that is making such a difference to people’s lives through the work it does in apprenticeships and skills. I look forward to helping Peopleplus to build on its strength within the financial services sector and its other key markets and to develop new, innovative solutions for its clients, now and into the future.
