Two prisons where we deliver vital learning and skills training to offenders, HMP Warren Hill and HMP Wayland have been held up as leading examples for their way of helping inmates to resettle into the community.

The two prisons were singled out on ITV News for their ‘new holistic approach... which needs to be replicated on a wider level’ to help prepare offenders for life after prison.

Our multi-skills tutor and catering tutor were interviewed as cameras went inside HMP Warren Hill, along with a learner who has completed courses with us and become a peer mentor. During the broadcast, presenter Tanya Mercer focused on the practical employability and life skills training offered to offenders in our classrooms, and explored how they are preparing for jobs through our plastering and bricks workshop at another prison, HMP Wayland.
