On Friday 6th June 2014, Staffline Group Plc, the national recruitment and outsourcing organisation providing people and operational expertise to industry, and parent company of Work Programme provider EOS, completed the acquisition of Avanta.

The partnership will see Avanta and EOS work together to help even more people access skills training and gain sustainable employment. The newly enlarged Avanta/EOS recruitment and skills business, working in partnership with Staffline’s work portfolio, will ensure that employers have a wider range of services available to them and that jobseekers and learners have a greater choice of career opportunities.

The acquisition is part of Staffline and Avanta’s shared desire for growth. Combined, the Avanta/EOS division will be able to help over 175,000 UK jobseekers through work with more than 5,500 national and local employers supported by a network of invaluable delivery partners. Benefits include:

Strengthening of our national coverage across the North West, North East, Midlands and the South East to better support jobseekers and learners and enhance our employer engagement service

A greater scope of services extending from pre-employment training through to placing people into work and post-employment vocational training and support

A top three position in the welfare sector in terms of the number of jobseekers supported A welfare presence in four regions as a prime contractor and a further three regions as a sub-contractor
