Tracy is now running a home based business after being introduced to Craig Lawrenson, Enterprise Advisor in her local branch.

Just a few months ago, Tracy was feeling low and dealing with anxiety and depression following a long eight years working as a head of department for a large hotel chain. When she first came in to PeoplePlus in Manchester, she had low self-esteem and found it hard to talk about herself and her aspirations without becoming overwhelmed by emotions. After a chat with our customer service advisors, Tracy was introduced to Craig Lawrenson, Enterprise Advisor in the local branch.

Seven weeks later, Tracy is running a home based business, Crafty Little Things by Tracy Senior, selling made-to-order baby and kids goods for all occasions. Speaking to her now only reveals her confidence, enthusiasm and excitement about the future: “I can’t tell you how good it feels knowing people like your work and how proud I feel when my kids tell their friends that mum has her own business. I have met some lovely people too and feel I am slowly getting back to my usual self.”

At present, Tracy is keeping busy fulfilling increasing orders and also preparing her stall at the popular Cheeki Monkeys Pop Up Baby and Children’s Market taking place at the end of September in Blackley.

Tracy’s advice to people in similar positions to hers is: “Go for it, you have nothing to lose, it’s been the best thing I have ever done”.
