Why choose a career in care?
It’s important to our communities that we have people like you to support us. The industry is growing at rapid rate and Care and Support qualifications are highly valued by employers. Here’s some reasons why:
- Every 1 in 14 adults (85+) are likely to receive a dementia diagnosis = Specialist learning is required in order to support our communities and offer focused personal care.
- 1% of the population are diagnosed as being on the Autism spectrum = It’s important that there are professionals who can respond to their specific needs and structured routines.
- Every 1 in 6 people in the UK experience mental health needs = It’s essential that we have trained individuals to support with fluctuating care needs varying from person to person.
With an Advanced Learner Loan it’s East!
If you are aged 19 or over, have lived in the UK for at least three years and have not had a loan for the same qualification type, you may qualify for the advanced learner loan. Your household income isn’t taken into account and there’s no credit check.
Don’t be afraid of applying for the loan, here’s some reasons that will give you peace of mind:
- You won’t have to pay anything back until you have finished your course and are earning over £25,725 a year.
- You can choose to pay off some or all your loan at any given time with no extra charge.
Any outstanding balance is automatically written off 30 years after your scheduled qualification end date. Our Care and Support courses can be fully funded by your Advanced Learner Loan. But if you do leave or change course after two weeks or more, you’ll have to pay back any money.
We have everything you need to start shaping your future. We will help you apply for the loan and promise to equip you with the skills you need to succeed in the care industry.
