Adult Education– Classroom Based and Distance Learning

Partnering directly with the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), we run our classroom based and distance learning division, funded by our Adult Education Budget. Our classroom based learning division has, more recently, benefitted from the addition of European Social Funding (ESF) to provide Skills Support for the Unemployed and NEET projects successfully broadening our offer.

Our Centres

Our Skills Centres have been designed specifically with learners in mind, aiming to create safe learning environments, which are comfortable and welcoming. We aim to make our learners’ experiences unique by placing a high focus on pastoral care and wellbeing. As a result of the C19 pandemic we are also offering learning in pop-up locations across the UK, meaning less travel time for a number of people. These pop-ups have the same secure, welcoming feeling as our centres.

Many of our learners are long-term unemployed and our referrals come directly from Jobcentre Plus and self-referrals from the community. Our staff members are welcoming and understand that a friendly and supportive manner can help change a negative attitude into a positive outcome for the learner.

Our delivery spans across England in the following regions: North Eastern, Tees Valley, Nottinghamshire, Greater Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire, West Midlands, Ipswich, Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, South East Midlands, Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Northamptonshire, Coventry and Warwickshire

We are also able to deliver full funded distance learning qualifications in these areas, meaning people can study from the comfort of their own home at their own time and pace.

We deliver a wide range of courses ranging from qualifications in Health and Social Care, Retail, Security, Warehousing and Distribution, Forklift Truck, Customer Service, Engineering, Hospitality and Catering, Maths and English (Functional Skills), IT and Employability/Personal Social Development.
