What we offer:
Telephone call handling assessment
An advisor to screen the applicants as the first port of call. Responsible for all queries into the service.
Internet & Social Media
We will suggest ways of maximising the use of the council website to attract and progress the interest of potential foster carers. We will also consider the current use of social media embraced by the Council and PeoplePlus and how that can be tapped into and/or expanded. The call handling advisor can manage the interest and activity and messages.
Presence at local community events
We recommend having a presence at local shopping centres (road shows) and other locations where large numbers of the local population visit. This maximises engagement with the community and presents the opportunity to interact and encourage further marketing – the public would be encouraged to take away leaflets and posters to distribute and display.
Presentations/Informal sessions
With local groups who have a networking presence in the community.
Coffee mornings
We would assist in co-ordination and support.
DBS checks
We are registered with Disclosure Services for use of the electronic DBS checks to support a local authority to process a DBS for a candidate who has passed our screening, referred on and assessed as a suitable foster carer.
