Programmes
Employability is at the heart of everything we do at PeoplePlus. We are the consistent top performer in supporting government programmes providing back-to-work education and support services for the unemployed.
In the government’s largest employability policy initiative to date ‘Work Programme’, all 9 of our contracts were in the top 10 best performing. We supported over 460,000 people on their journey back into work
Employability in England
Having previously delivered the Work Programme on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions, we are now a Tier 1 provider in the National and regional CAEHRS Framework.
We also deliver the ‘Black Country Impact’ programme and DPS contracts.
Employability in Wales
Following several extensions to the contract, PeoplePlus Cymru are now in their 7th year of delivering the Work Programme and we have taken the top spots across the board in the RJF provider league tables, outperforming our competitors with similar caseloads by a considerable margin.
Employability in Scotland
We have been delivering the Fair Start Scotland contract since April 2018 in Glasgow and Highlands & Islands. Fair Start is a voluntary service where the focus is on helping the participant to work through a number of interactions that will develop their soft skills and overall employability. It offers tailored one to one support, then further support for up to 12 months after employment.
We have strong relationships with local and national employers who are interested in hiring good people and investing in their development and future. It’s these relationships that help us to secure the right jobs for our customers.
Across the UK our dedicated team of advisors, in-work support mentors, vacancy coordinators, employer relationship managers, enterprise advisors, skills tutors and more are working to reduce unemployment in Britain. Our national footprint means we have extensive relationships, knowledge and employment opportunities across the country that can open new opportunities for our customers.
