Hospitality and Catering Pathway
For learners who want to be part of an ever-growing industry. Our hospitality and catering course is the steppingstone to your next career. You might want to work as a chef, kitchen assistant, housekeeper, waitress or hotel receptionist. Whatever area you’re interested in, we have an introductory Certificate in Catering and Hospitality to suit you. You will learn essential skills in catering and hospitality, ways to maintain a safe, hygienic, and secure working environment and the importance of teamwork.
Sustainable employment is a key factor for our learners. With this in mind, we have designed our Hospitality and Catering course with qualifications to enable individuals to secure employment in multiple settings. Our Hospitality and Catering Course enables learners to stand out from the crowd. Employers value people who can understand their business, have excellent customer service skills, and can work as part of a team. PeoplePlus have links with many employers and can often offer guaranteed interviews with local employers on course completion.

You must be claiming State Benefits (JSA, ESA, Income support or Universal Credit) or on a low income.
We will carry out Initial Assessment to ensure you are on the right programme and level.
Our Skills Support for the Unemployed and Adult Education Budget funded programmes are co-financed by the Education and Skills Funding Agency and the European Social Fund. This enables us to provide fully funded courses for unemployed people (or people on a low income) and provide businesses with a talented pool of individuals.
