DWP Commercial Agreement for Employment and Health Related Services (CAEHRS)

Dear Partners,

On Friday 3rd July the DWP released a new Commercial Agreement for Employment and Health Related Services (CAEHRS). The CAEHRS framework will replace the existing UAEHRS which is due to expire in January 2021.

CAEHRS is designed to facilitate the procurement of Employment and Health related services provision for the government and other contracting bodies across England, Wales and Scotland, from September 2020 to August 2025.

CAEHRS providers will be required to deliver a range of different types of services and support. In delivering this service CAEHRS providers will need to continuously improve delivery, test new approaches and develop the approach to ensure the most effective delivery. This will include, but not be limited to:

  • Providing support for individuals to select, train for, progress toward, obtain and retain employment and self-employment.
  • Identifying and addressing barriers to employment for a broad range of individuals with differing and potentially very individual needs. Including but not limited to; Disabilities and Health conditions, Youth and NEET, Long Term Unemployed, Disadvantaged; Ex-offenders and those exiting prison, Self-employment and those interested, and progression in work for UC Claimants.
  • Potentially require, but is not limited to, assistance in starting a new role, workplace adaptations, further training and short or long term in-work support.
  • Any combination of, but not limited to, providing Face to Face, outreach and Digital services to support the individual’s circumstances and requirements of the provision.

PeoplePlus is bidding for this opportunity. At this stage we are asking organisations interested in partnering with us on future CAEHRS call-off contracts (either as an end to end and/or specialist service provider) to please ensure you are registered on our partner portal Proactis, using the link provided below:
