Our Personal Skills course is the steppingstone to your next career and aims to support your technical skills to ensure you stand out as a well-rounded candidate to future employers. Personal Development allows you to assess your skills and qualities, consider your professional aims and set goals to realise and maximise your potential. This learning pathway will teach you how to continue to develop your soft skills throughout your career. The pathway is ideal if you are wanting to boost or start your career.

Eligibility

You must be 19 or older (this does change to 16 depending on your location)

You must be claiming State Benefits (JSA, ESA, Income support or Universal Credit) or on a low income.

We will carry out Initial Assessment to ensure you are on the right programme and level.

Funding 

Our Skills Support for the Unemployed and Adult Education Budget funded programmes are co-financed by the Education and Skills Funding Agency and the European Social Fund. This enables us to provide fully funded courses for unemployed people (or people on a low income) and provide businesses with a talented pool of individuals.

We are the largest provider of Skills Support for the unemployed with 47% of the market. We are also the largest provider of Adult Education Budget funded training.
