Real Courses for Real Jobs
Our courses are delivered in response to local area employment needs, meaning we deliver training to prepare people for the jobs that are available in their local area.
We work with Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) and Combined Authorities across England to enable people to progress in learning and access the job opportunities that are available. We start with the labour market demands and the jobs that are available, then we work backwards! We speak to our large network of employers to find out what qualifications and skills are needed for someone to successfully do the job. We then develop our training offer to ensure people develop the right skills and behaviours needed to succeed in employment. We work closely JobCentre Plus, youth organisations, charities and other organisations who support unemployed people within the local community to match people who are unemployed find training and employment!
In 2020 over 60% of learners who did a training course with us moved immediately into employment.
Our Delivery
We create and deliver innovative, bespoke employability and skills programmes and have the flexibility to scale up quickly and deliver all across England. We have 14 fixed learning centres in England and have the ability to provide learning from ‘pop-up’ learning centres that we can set up in local communities, from a village hall or local hotel for example, meaning we can offering training in locations that are easy to get to and aligned with the demands of the local area.
Due to Covid-19 we have been able to flip our delivery model so everything is done online, however once restrictions are lifted, we will resume face to face delivery, whilst still offering the option of distance learning and remote education.
As well as giving people the skills needed to gain employment, our courses can also be done by people who are wishing to progress in their current employment, who would like to learn a new skill in their own time, or who people who would benefit from some short, sharp CPD training.
A personal experience – our trained team of friendly tutors will first make sure that the courses are right for you based on what your ultimate goal is, then together you will decide on a suitable plan, timescales and capability to learn – then your learning will start!
