Our Employability division is the second largest across PeoplePlus. Around 300 colleagues work here with offices in England, Scotland and Wales. We deliver employability contracts on behalf of the Government to enable people to move into sustainable work.
Our work includes:
- Delivering The Restart Scheme in Kent, the North East and Wales.
- Delivering Fair Start Scotland
- Offering apprenticeships and Jobs Growth Wales+ to young people
- Working with schools and individuals to learn about self-employment and develop their businesses
This division is lead by Divisional Managing Director Sally Bond who has worked for PeoplePlus for seventeen years and is a Board Member and Fellow of the Institute of Employability Professionals. Sally is supported by her Leadership Team of Directors and Heads of Department which are structured by the contracts we run.
Typical roles we employ in this division include:
- Employment Advisors or Key Workers - these roles are front line, delivery based and will be working with our customers everyday.
- Business Managers - these colleagues manage the Employment Advisors and their caseload of customers
- Tutors & Assessors - the colleagues teach sector specific training to young people
- Operations Managers - these senior level colleagues are responsible for the overall performance of their office or department
