When Anthony first walked into the PeoplePlus Glasgow office, he was uncertain about his future and unsure of his abilities. Instead of offering a one-size-fits-all solution, Nick worked with Anthony to develop a plan tailored to his goals and strengths. It wasn’t about rushing into the first available opportunity but building a foundation for lasting success.
One of the pivotal moments in Anthony’s transformation came when Nick suggested he join the Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) course offered by PeoplePlus. At first, Anthony was hesitant. Nick worked closely with Anthony to refine his CV and practice interview techniques. These sessions were transformative, equipping Anthony with both the confidence and the practical skills to approach job opportunities with assurance.
The hard work paid off when Anthony, with Nick’s guidance and the help of Employer Relationship Manager Lee, secured a role with Quarriers in the care sector. This wasn’t just any job—it was a role that aligned with Anthony’s values and aspirations. It gave him the chance to not only support himself but also make a difference in the lives of others, helping them realise their potential, just as he had.
