Social value, designed and delivered
In June 2026, PeoplePlus was named GO Supplier of the Year at the UK National GO Awards, judged against the full field of UK public procurement. The award was not given for strong bid writing. It was given for delivery: 14,000+ people into work through the Social Recruitment Framework since 2018, and social value commitments kept on behalf of clients across the country.
Why this work matters
Marcus is 24. He left care at 18 and prison at 22, and he has never not wanted to work. Between him and a job sat a procurement process he would never see: a tender, a social value question, an evaluation matrix, and somewhere in that paperwork, a promise about people like him. Keeping that promise is what our work is for.
The delivery record
- 2 million+ people supported since PeoplePlus was founded
- 14,000+ people into work through the Social Recruitment Framework since 2018
- 570+ organisations signed up to the Social Recruitment Covenant
- 150+ member organisations in the Social Recruitment Advocacy Group
More than a standard provider
Anyone can write a social value commitment. A well-written answer now scores full marks whether or not anyone intends to keep it, which is why commissioners are looking harder at delivery. PeoplePlus offers three things most providers cannot: consultancy that designs commitments you can actually keep, a managed service that delivers them, and a national coalition that extends your reach far beyond a single contract.
1. Social value consultancy and design
Social value can carry up to 30% of the weighting in public tenders. We work with bid teams to design fully costed social value solutions that stand up to evaluation and, more importantly, to delivery. When G4S needed to embed social value into their successful Sizewell C nuclear power station bid, we helped write and design the solution, and we now support its delivery. In June 2026, that project won the CSR award at the British Security Awards.

2. Managed delivery through the Social Recruitment Framework
The SRF is a managed recruitment service. It is free to employers and handles the full process end to end: pre-employment training built around your vacancies, guaranteed interviews, and support that continues after day one. It is how BT reduced attraction costs by £18,000 and improved first-year retention by 29%.
3. A coalition of influence
PeoplePlus founded the Social Recruitment Advocacy Group, a coalition of 150+ organisations collectively employing more than 500,000 people, chaired by the Rt. Hon. Anne Milton. We also founded the Social Recruitment Covenant, the national pledge to inclusive hiring now signed by 570+ organisations. Membership includes organisations that compete with PeoplePlus for contracts. We built both because changing how the UK hires takes more than one provider.

Working with us
Every organisation’s starting point is different. Some arrive with a social value question in a live tender, some with a commitment already made and a delivery gap to close, and some with vacancies they cannot fill. The first thing we do is listen. Then we respond with a plan matched to your recruitment, training and social value needs, drawing on the SRF, LearningPlus training, and our partner network of training providers, charities and VCSE organisations.
Our recruitment services through the SRF, and signing the Social Recruitment Covenant, are free. Consultancy and design services are chargeable, and SRAG membership can help us find cost savings for members along the way.
Ready to talk about keeping your promise?
Whether you are responding to a tender next month or building a social value strategy for the next five years, the conversation starts the same way.
