Josh sets up his own security company after studying with PeoplePlus

Before Josh signed up to one of PeoplePlus' courses in Newcastle he worked at a manufacturing company until he broke his hand which led him to become unemployed. He had always wanted to start his own security business and now was the right the time to do it.
His Job Centre Plus Advisor put Josh in touch with PeoplePlus in order to get the skills and qualifications he needed to find employment.
Josh wanted to get a qualification under his belt, and after completing an employability course he was able to complete his SIA course; all fully funded so Josh didn't have to pay a penny.
Josh said: "I would recommend anyone considering completing a course with PeoplePlus to do it, it will help you further your career and you will also improve your people skills. PeoplePlus has helped me move forward in my career, network with people within the security industry and enabled me to become my own boss!"
Josh now works as a door supervisor under his own company name Platinum Security and is working on growing his company.
