🏆 PeoplePlus Honoured with Silver Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Award at His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant’s Awards
PeoplePlus was proud to be recognised at His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant’s Awards in Bristol, where Lord-Lieutenant Peaches Golding OBE CStJ presented awards celebrating the outstanding contributions of individuals and organisations across the region.
Representing PeoplePlus at the prestigious ceremony, a volunteer Joe, accompanied by the Volunteer Coordinator, attended the event to accept the award on behalf of the organisation. The evening brought together community leaders, volunteers, employers and organisations that are making a positive difference in the lives of others, providing a valuable opportunity to share experiences, build connections and celebrate collective achievements.
The awards recognised both professional and personal accomplishments, highlighting the dedication, commitment and impact of those who go above and beyond to support their communities. Throughout the evening, the importance of partnership working and collaboration was evident, with organisations from a wide range of sectors coming together to showcase the positive outcomes that can be achieved through shared purpose and support.
PeoplePlus was honoured to receive a Silver Award under the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS). The award acknowledges employers that demonstrate exceptional support for members of the Armed Forces community, including serving personnel, veterans, reservists and military families.
Receiving this recognition reflects PeoplePlus’ ongoing commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant and its dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive working environment for those connected to defence services. The Silver Award recognises the organisation’s efforts to ensure members of the Armed Forces community are supported, valued and given opportunities to thrive within the workplace.
The event was a memorable celebration of service, commitment and community spirit, and PeoplePlus is delighted to have its work recognised alongside so many inspiring individuals and organisations. This achievement reinforces the organisation’s commitment to supporting those who have served, or continue to serve, and to making a positive impact within communities across the region.
