PeoplePlus is proud to announce its successful inclusion in the NHS Social Impact Framework. This award reinforces our commitment to creating meaningful change in communities across the UK.

We have been awarded positions on Lots 5, 11, 13, and 18, under Theme 2 – Community Led Services for Social Impact. These lots focus on some of the most pressing social challenges, and our involvement is reflective of our purpose to change lives and lead the way in creating social value.

We believe in a community based approach that is inclusive, person centered and rooted in lived experience. By working closely with local partners and tailoring services to individual needs, we ensure that support is accessible, equitable, and impactful.

What We Will Deliver

Through the Social Impact Framework, PeoplePlus hope to have the opportunity to deliver services that make a tangible difference in people’s lives:

Lot 5: Employment Support and Skills for People Facing Barriers
Helping individuals overcome social, economic, and personal challenges to access meaningful work, training, and education. Our trusted approach will focus on building confidence, skills, and sustainable pathways into employment, not just short-term fixes.

Lot 11: Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Services
Providing inclusive, trauma informed support to improve mental health and resilience. From peer mentoring to early intervention, PeoplePlus will reduce stigma, prevent crisis, and promote emotional wellbeing for people of all ages and backgrounds. We support our service users to overcome mental health challenges on a daily basis across multiple contracts including carers support, employability and NHS secure mental health and learning disability services.

Lot 13: Offender Rehabilitation and Criminal Justice Support
Supporting people in or leaving the criminal justice system to rebuild their lives; as the largest provider of Prison Education in England & Scotland, will capitalise on our long standing approaches on rehabilitation, reducing reoffending, and creating opportunities for housing, health, and employment, helping individuals reintegrate into their communities.

Lot 18: Carer Support and Respite Services
Recognising and supporting unpaid carers with advice, emotional support, and respite opportunities. Underpinned by 10+ years delivering contracts supporting Carers, including over 10,000 individuals through our Gloucester Carer’s Hub, we work to reduce isolation, improve wellbeing, and ensure carers can sustain their vital roles while maintaining balance in their own lives.

Why This Matters

The Social Impact Framework is there to create lasting change. By focusing on outcomes such as improved health, stronger social connections, and increased confidence, PeoplePlus is helping to tackle inequalities and build resilient communities.

Marina Cadman, Head of Wellbeing and Community Partnerships at PeoplePlus, said:

“Our inclusion in the Social Impact Framework is a testament to our commitment to community led solutions. We know that real impact happens when services are designed around people’s needs and delivered with compassion, respect, and flexibility. This is what PeoplePlus stands for.”
