Revving up social value at the SRAG Employability Day

Hosted by Teamworks Karting Ltd in central Bimingham, and with thanks to Springpod for helping connect the dots, the event brought social value to life - creating a space for local people to meet face-to-face with employers and explore real opportunities. The event focused on creating real opportunities and delivering social value, with a strong turnout from both local jobseekers and employers.
We were pleased to welcome a number of our SRAG member organisations, including G4S, RGIS, Sodexo and Amey, who took part in the day to connect with potential candidates, share insight into their recruitment needs, and show their continued commitment to social value in action. Employers from outside the network also took part, including representatives from West Midlands police and other local businesses, contributing to a diverse and impactful event.
The day gave attendees the chance to learn more about different roles available, ask questions, and see what real opportunities were available. This approach helps remove traditional barriers to employment and is a core part of the SRAG ethos bringing people and opportunities together in meaningful ways.
To wrap things up, employers stepped into race suits and took to the track for a karting session - a perfect way to round off a high-energy day 🏎️
