Turning up the heat at HMP Lincoln

Today we are celebrating one of our ex-offenders Lowan who has just started working at The Priory Hotel after his release from HMP Lincoln.

The hotel runs the 'neighbours kitchen' an initiative which feeds local people who are struggling due to homelessness, financial difficulties, or Covid. Lowan has been cooking meals for the local community and recently did his first taster menu for the hotel. He has received fantastic feedback from Paul, the owner of the hotel.

When we met Lowan he said he was looking for work as a landscape gardener but his real passion was cooking. Paul employs people with learning difficulties and mental health issues and seeks to offer employment for those with barriers, and received an MBE for this work in the New Years honours list!
