Armed with newfound knowledge and determination, Veronika took the first steps towards transforming her life.
Maggie, Veronika's dedicated Keyworker, quickly established a strong rapport with her. Together, they embarked on a journey, exploring various avenues to uncover opportunities that would be a perfect match for Veronika's skills and aspirations.
Thanks to Maggie's commitment, Veronika was able to participate in translation work on a voluntary basis with esteemed organisations, including Barnardo’s. These experiences not only enhanced her confidence but also allowed her to develop her skills further. Veronika's dedication and hard work shone through, capturing the attention of Barnardo’s, who recognised her potential.
Due to Veronika's capabilities, she has now been offered the opportunity to work with Barnardo’s on a self-employed basis. The organisation has guaranteed her an impressive 30 hours of work per week, a testament to her exceptional skills. This milestone achievement has instilled in Veronika a renewed sense of positivity and optimism for her future.
