SRAG Social Value Awards 2026
Introducing an innovative new set of awards celebrating the work of the Social Recruitment Advocacy Group network
The Social Recruitment Advocacy Group (SRAG) brings together organisations committed to using recruitment as a force for positive social change.
To create opportunities for people who face barriers to work, employers are rethinking how they operate, working closely with specialist delivery partners across the SRAG network.
Together they're changing processes, building partnerships, and challenging systems - and as they do, they're driving greater levels of social value and impact.
They're going far beyond what may traditionally be considered “business as usual".
We want to recognise and showcase this work, sharing what’s possible and inspiring others to take action.
To do this, we are launching a new set of awards celebrating outstanding practice across four key areas:
Innovation Award
Recognising new or adapted approaches that improve how organisations recruit, support and retain talent.
We’re looking for:
- A clear explanation of what has been done differently
- Why this approach was needed
- Evidence of outcomes (for the business, workforce, or community)
- Thoughtful and inclusive design
Social Recruitment in Action Award
Recognising organisations delivering measurable results through social recruitment.
We’re looking for:
- Evidence of people moving into work, progressing, or developing skills
- Clear examples of reducing barriers to employment
- Strong partnership working
- Measurable outcomes
Purpose Driven Procurement Award
Recognising organisations embedding social value into procurement and supply chains.
We’re looking for:
- How procurement has been used to drive social impact
- Evidence of delivery through suppliers or partners
- Measurable outcomes linked to this activity
Stronger Together Award
Celebrating collaboration that has led to meaningful outcomes
We’re looking for:
- Cross-sector partnerships (employers, providers, community organisations, public sector)
- Clear shared goals and delivery approach
- Evidence that working together improved outcomes
How to Nominate
Please provide clear, practical submissions that show what has changed and why it matters.
This does not need to be large-scale. Smaller numbers with meaningful impact are just as important as high-volume activity.
Strong submissions will:
- Explain the situation or challenge
- Set out the approach taken
- Provide evidence of impact
- Include real examples or case studies
- Reflect honestly on what has worked and what has been learned
Submission Format
To keep the process fair and focused, submissions should follow a simple structure:
1. Situation / Challenge (300–500 words)
What need was being addressed?
2. Approach / Strategy (300–500 words)
What did you do and how did you do it?
3. Impact / Outcomes (300–500 words)
What changed as a result? Include measurable outcomes where possible.
4. What Next (200–300 words)
How will this develop, embed or scale?
Supporting Materials (Optional)
You may include up to 3 supporting items, such as:
- PDF (case study, report, summary)
- Video link (max 3 minutes recommended)
- Image or visual (JPEG/PNG)
Please ensure these add clarity rather than volume.
