Support for North Lanarkshire residents to find work, start your own business or grow an existing business.

What do you need to know

Working For You is a fully funded partnership with North Lanarkshire Council offering support to North Lanarkshire residents who are either:

Unemployed and want support to find work

Want to start their own business

Want to grow their existing business

Support for the unemployed

Whether someone is long term unemployed, recently found themselves out of work or face particular barriers to employment our free Working For You programme can help.

Participants will receive support for up to 3 months with things such as:

• A dedicated Key Worker to tailor support to suit their needs

• Support to write a CV

• Support with interview tips and techniques including mock interviews

• Job application support

• Access to online learning

• Help with job searching

• And more….

Support to start own business or grow an existing business

Whether someone has a great idea for their own business but doesn’t know where to begin to set it up or they have an existing business but would like support to grow it and realise its full potential Working For You with PeoplePlus can help.

Our dedicated Business Advisors can support participants for up to 3 months to start a business and up to 6 months to grow an existing business with things such as:
