Strategic Partnership with What Impact
The Social Recruitment Advocacy Group (SRAG) has entered into a strategic partnership with What Impact, strengthening how employers plan, evidence and communicate the outcomes of inclusive recruitment and social value activity.
The partnership reflects a shared focus on moving beyond intent and towards delivery; supporting organisations to demonstrate what their activity actually achieves for people, communities and the labour market.
The SRAG brings together a national network of employers, providers and partners committed to practical social recruitment. Through its Charter Mark, Social Recruitment Covenant and employer-led activity, SRAG supports organisations to create recruitment and employment systems that widen access to work, improve retention and progression, and contribute to stronger local communities. As expectations around social value continue to rise, employers are increasingly seeking clear, proportionate ways to evidence impact without adding unnecessary administrative burden.
What Impact supports employers through a trusted digital platform that helps organisations tap into community organisations and not for profit organisations that are delivering social impact based on identified and evidenced local need.
Speaking about the partnership, Laura Savage, Director of Partner Services and Social Value at PeoplePlus said:
“The SRAG provides a well-established forum that brings employers and partners together, enabling collaboration that shapes good intent into initiatives and activity that are deliving positive outcomes for local communities. By partnering with What Impact we are listening and responding to the voices of user-led voluntary and community organisations. The What Impact solution is grounded in a deep understanding of local need and allows employers to identify partners and track social value outcomes against the established social model frameworks. Together, this partnership helps make social value clearer, more consistent, and easier to act on.”
The partnership will support SRAG members at different stages of their social value journey - from those just beginning to formalise their approach, through to organisations embedding social recruitment and community impact at scale.
This collaboration strengthens SRAG’s wider commitment to supporting employers with practical tools, shared learning and credible standards — ensuring social recruitment and social value remain focused on outcomes.
