As part of Active April, carers across Gloucestershire came together with our Carers Hub on Wednesday 15 April to enjoy our Carers Active Together sessions. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Gloucester Docks and Westonbirt Arboretum, the sessions offered carers and those they support the chance to get moving, connect with others, and focus on wellbeing in a relaxed and welcoming environment. From gentle walks to simply enjoying time outdoors, these shared experiences highlighted the power of coming together to reduce isolation, build connections and support both physical and mental health. Thank you to everyone who took part – we’re excited to create more opportunities for carers to stay active together.
